ADVERTISING:
The Chamber sponsors
cooperative advertising
programs during the year
that provide a savings to
the membership. The
programs promote member
businesses in the Homer
area.

The Chamber serves as a
facilitator on behalf of

a number of issues.
Affiliation through the
Michigan Chamber of
Commerce assures that
issues will be
communicated to the

BUSINESS ALERT SYSTEM:
The Chamber of Commerce
e-mail "grapevine" serves
as a handy tool to warn
businesses of shoplifters,
stolen checks, etc. This
grapevine is also used by
the businesses to share
information and share
ideas.

COMMUNITY EVENTS/PROJECTS:
The Chamber sponsors a
number of events each year
for the enjoyment and
enrichment of the
Community. Among them are
the Easter Eggstravaganza,
the Homer Hogstravaganza,
the Downtown Car & Bike Show, and C.A.S.H.
for Christmas.

Village and Township, the
Chamber provides
demographic as well as
other information about
the community.

Proceeds generated through
the Chamber assist in
promoting the community.
The Chamber participates
in several fundraising
functions throughout the
year.

The Chamber handles
inquiries about businesses
and services in the Homer
area and refers potential
customers and clients to

NETWORKING:
A number of events are
sponsored each year for
networking opportunities.
This time with fellow
members is a great

The first stop for people

the area is the Chamber of
Commerce. We provide a
variety of information to
promote our area. Along
with demographic
information, we provide a
list of realtors,
apartment complexes,
school and church
information, retail
opportunities, etc.
Ambassador services are
also available for tours
of the community, service
organizations, schools,
and businesses.

TRAINING & EDUCATION:
The Chamber offers
opportunities for training
classes and seminars
through the alliance with
the Michigan Chamber of
Commerce. Assistance will
also be available to those
opening new businesses in
the Homer area.

The Chamber of Commerce
assists your business by
placing your information
in the Member Directory on
the Chamber website. This
includes a free link to your
company website, if
applicable. You can also
use the website to
promote your business
events, sales,
downloadable coupons, or
even announce an
employee of the month.

WELCOME WAGON:
Once the new homeowners
have moved to the area,
the Chamber of Commerce
provides a Welcome Basket
filled with various gifts,
coupons, literature, etc.
from member businesses.
This is an excellent
opportunity for your
business to advertise
effectively and
efficiently and provides
the newcomer with valuable
information about our
community.
