2008 HOMER HOGSTRAVAGANZA
PARADE ENTRY RULES & REGISTRATION
The Homer Hogstravaganza parade, sponsored by the Homer Area Chamber of Commerce will be held Saturday, August
2, 2008, at
10:00 a.m. Registered participants will be notified of the approximate time and
location of the parade line-up.
• Please complete
this registration form and mail to Homer Area Chamber of
Commerce, PO Box 124, Homer, MI 49245.
• All parade entries must be family oriented. Printed or verbal statements made
by participants on the float, bicycle or other entry must not be discriminatory
towards age, race, sex, gender, or physical/mental condition.
• Participants must follow all guidelines as indicated by parade coordinators to
guarantee the safety of themselves as well as the parade audience.
• All pets must be kept on a leash at all times. Pet owners are responsible for
the safety of other parade entrants as well as the parade audience. The pet
owner is responsible for any refuse left by their pet. For the safety of the
public, no spiders, snakes or vicious animals, please. Children with pets must
be accompanied by an adult at all times.
• There will be a first, second and third prize offered for the bicycle and
float categories. Participants may or may not choose to follow the festival
theme for the parade entries. Judging will not be based on the festival theme.
